Here are some overlooked tips on planning an a trip overseas to ensure a safe and healthy trip. One rule that you should never break- don't drink the water and don't accept ice in your beverage either.

- Travel Warnings by the U.S. State Department are a must both for leisure travelers and seasoned travelers.
- Global Weather will dictate when you take your trip and what clothing to take,
- If you lose your passport or it is stolen, you will need to go to the US Embassy location in the country you are visiting.
- Stay healthy and get your vaccinations before you go. See the Center for Disease Control's Vaccinations website.
